America is Back in the Driver’s Seat Thanks to President Trump
WASHINGTON D.C. – Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, eight car manufacturers have announced that they will shift vehicle production to the United States. Just today, Mercedes-Benz announced it will add a new core production line to its manufacturing plant in Alabama—reinforcing America’s dominance in auto manufacturing.
Republican Study Committee (RSC) members celebrated the economic impact these historic investments will bring to their districts:
“Under President Trump, the Golden Age of America is being ushered in! Billions of dollars of investments are being brought from overseas back to the United States. This is exactly how you put America First!” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14).
“President Trump’s bold leadership is bringing manufacturing back where it belongs—right here in America. BMW’s expansion in Spartanburg is proof that pro-American policies are bringing jobs back, and it’s a huge win for South Carolina. Many families in our district depend on these jobs, and this investment is proof that when we put America First, our workers and communities thrive,” said Rep. Sheri Biggs (SC-03).
“President Trump is the only president in my lifetime to care about the forgotten men and women of America, who’ve suffered under unfair trade practices and globalism for the last forty years. I’m proud to support his efforts to reshore American jobs. In West Virginia, we’re already reaping the benefits of his negotiations, and this massive investment by Toyota to expand their existing engine factory is a great example,” said Rep. Riley Moore (WV-02).
"President Trump is working to deliver results for central and northwest Illinois," said Rep. Darin LaHood (IL-16). "High-paying jobs, like those offered by Stellantis, will bolster Illinois' economy and safeguard American manufacturing."
