April Showers Bring Continued Economic Boom
WASHINGTON DC - The April jobs report demonstrates continued economic momentum with 177,000 new positions added across critical sectors, marking the second consecutive month of substantial growth. Rising wages and increased workforce participation proves that President Trump's America First agenda is working.
The Republican Study Committee's (RSC) Budget Task Force Chair released this statement following the report:
"The outstanding jobs report for April is one more indicator that America First policies to rebalance trade, slash job-killing regulations, cut taxes for job creators, and deliver pro-business reforms is working well! Now, Congress must do its job to cut spending, extend the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and deliver pro-growth policies to ensure America is the best place in the world for investment, manufacturing expansion, and long term economic development," said RSC Budget Task Force Chair Rep. Van Duyne.
