Border Bruiser and WWE Legend: Tom Homan and Linda McMahon Tag Team at RSC

May 15, 2025

WASHINGTON D.C. –  The Republican Study Committee (RSC) hosted Border Czar Tom Homan for a member meeting on Capitol Hill. Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, Tom Homan, and our brave border patrol agents, illegal crossings have plummeted by over 96%. Homan's aggressive deportation strategy is dismantling the Democrats' open borders agenda while RSC lawmakers ensure proper funding for border enforcement.

Homan hammered home the critical need for proper funding to counter the flood of illegal aliens who poured in under the previous administration, stressing a return to law enforcement that's making America safe again. Following the meeting, U.S. Border Czar Tom Homan stated:

The Biden administration’s incompetence and lawlessness enabled a dumpster fire of a border crisis to fuel a surge in national security and public safety threats as well as deadly drugs in communities throughout our nation. In less than 100 days, the Trump administration created the most secure border in American history. We are ramping deportations everyday while restoring law and order in our communities. These achievements would not be possible without the strong leadership of President Trump and the brave men and women of Border Patrol and ICE. I met with the Republican Study Committee today and thanked them for their strong support of this Administration’s efforts to take our country back – neither they, the President, nor I will rest until the threats against American communities and citizens are eradicated.

The RSC also welcomed Education Secretary Linda McMahon to outline her bold vision to return educational control to the states and empower parents with school choice. Her department has already recovered an impressive $58 million from defaulted student loans.

Members praised McMahon's commitment to dismantling federal overreach in education while creating a system that better serves American families. McMahon urged the RSC to champion President Trump's education revolution that will make American education freer, stronger, and more accountable to students and parents.

I appreciated visiting with members of the Republican Study Committee yesterday to discuss how we can work together to improve our nation's education system. The American people gave us an historic mandate to make real change for students and families by expanding school choice, holding higher education institutions accountable, and returning education authority to the states.  I look forward to working closely with them to create an education system that puts students and families first,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon.
