Chairman Pfluger Applauds the News of a Ceasefire Agreement Brokered by President Trump

WASHINGTON D.C. –  Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger released the following statement after the news of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran:

“There will be a ceasefire in the Middle East tonight because the American people elected a leader they knew they could trust to fulfill his obligations as our Commander in Chief. In just 72 hours, President Trump's Peace through Strength agenda obliterated Iran's nuclear ambitions and is giving a pathway to restore stability in the Middle East. God bless our great Airmen and servicemembers who made this possible. The United States will continue to provide unrelenting support to ensure our ally Israel can defend itself.”
