Chairman Pfluger on the Historic Passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill: "The fact is, Republicans have come together and united behind the promises that President Trump made to the American public. We're delivering on historic legislation. A lot of credit goes to Speaker Mike Johnson and the variety of Chairmen who had a hand in this...The key here is that we came together because we know we need to get America on a different path and undo the last 4 years."

Chairman Pfluger on What H.R. 1 Does: "It unleashes the economy, it extends the tax cuts that President Trump enacted in 2017...we're garnering savings to cut fraud, waste, and abuse, we're unleashing American energy, and we're securing the border. I mean, every promise President Trump made is being delivered on in this bill."

Chairman Pfluger on the Republican Study Committee's Role in the Reconciliation Process: "We needed to save some money. As Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, we pushed leadership in that direction: $37 trillion in debt? We could not sustain that...And we knew we had to extend the tax cuts to make sure that our American working families can succeed and they can put more money into their pockets."
