Chairman Pfluger Unveils Plan to Bypass Big Insurance, Send Health Care Dollars Directly to Patients
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) joined the Alex Marlow Show on Breitbart News to detail the GOP's plan to dismantle Obamacare's failed structure and deliver relief to Americans crushed by rising premiums. As Democrats push to extend COVID-era subsidies that funnel taxpayer dollars through insurance companies, Chairman Pfluger is championing the More Affordable Care Act with Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) to surgically reduce costs through competition, transparency, and patient control.
The Chairman made clear that Republicans will not rubber-stamp blank checks to insurance companies while premiums continue climbing year after year.

Chairman Pfluger on Democrats' health care lies: "Not a single Republican in the last 15 years voted for any Democrat plan on health care, and they have lied to us about the accessibility, it's less accessible. They've lied to us about the price. It's more expensive. They've lied to us about the affordability of drugs, those are more expensive. Everything they've done is a house of cards that has made people more dependent on the government, and that has made the quality worse when raising the cost of it for Americans."
Chairman Pfluger on the GOP's structural solution: "Instead of sending those to insurance companies, we send it directly to the American patients. We send it directly to people that can take control of that have some accountability, and they know where those dollars are going. The More Affordable Care Act... people see how damaging Obamacare has been to our country, and they want an answer. But most importantly, they want a choice, which is the heart of this bill."
Chairman Pfluger on looking ahead to 2026: "Our work is not done. We are stronger as a country from a national security standpoint. Our border is secure. Our economy is stronger, and you have the ability, every American has the ability to live the American dream. But our work is not done...Over 75 million Americans voted to see this agenda put into place. We need to keep on going to finish what we started."
