Getting Right to the Point: Republican Study Committee Launches Exclusive Podcast

February 12, 2025

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) officially unveiled the Right to the Point podcast—a first-of-its-kind podcast that gives listeners unprecedented access to the voices and vision of RSC Members, delivering unfiltered insights directly from the committee.

Each episode features RSC members breaking down the most pressing issues facing Congress, giving listeners a direct line to understanding what's happening in Washington.

RSC Communications Strategy Taskforce Chairman Mark Alford (MO-04) along with RSC Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) spearheaded the creation of the podcast to highlight the diverse areas of expertise and background of the RSC membership. Hosted exclusively by RSC leadership members, the podcast will feature conversations with fellow RSC members and special guests to be announced soon.

This outlet was designed to cut through mainstream media noise, delivering unfiltered perspectives directly from members of Congress.

Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) and RSC Communications Strategy Taskforce Chairman Mark Alford (MO-04) celebrated the launch and inaugural episode of Right to the Point:

"Americans have grown increasingly frustrated with biased mainstream media coverage, so it's imperative for Republicans to fight back", said RSC Chairman August Pfluger. "Following President Trump's winning strategy in 2024 of bypassing traditional media gatekeepers, I am thrilled to announce the launch of Right to the Point, the RSC’s exclusive new podcast.

Right to the Point will serve as a direct line between the American people and their conservative representatives in Congress. This podcast cuts through the media noise to deliver our unfiltered conservative message and give listeners a behind-the-scenes look at Capitol Hill and what goes on in our committee. The debut of Right to the Point marks a turning point in how we must continue to bypass the mainstream media gatekeepers and establish new media dominance in Washington.

"It's an exciting time for the Republican Study Committee as we launch a new podcast," said Rep. Mark Alford (MO-04), Chair of the RSC Communications Strategy Taskforce. "As the oldest and largest conservative caucus in the House, it's time we use 21st Century communication to advocate for our commonsense agenda. I'm excited to serve as Chair of the RSC Communications Task Force, and it was an honor to be a part of the first episode of Right to the Point. I also applaud Chairman Pfluger for his leadership in working to build a conservative governing coalition."

New episodes will feature a rotating variety of RSC Members discussing news of the day, RSC initiatives, and more. The first episode is now live, featuring co-hosts Chairman August Pfluger, Rep. Mark Alford, and Rep. Zach Nunn.
