HEAT Chairman Applauds President Trump's Energy-Focused Executive Order

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, RSC House Energy Action Team (HEAT) Chairman Rep. Troy Balderson (OH-12) released the following statement on President Trump's Unleashing American Energy Executive Order:

“President Trump is taking strong and desperately needed action to unleash American energy dominance. We are pleased to see President Trump move swiftly to end the disastrous Green New Deal agenda, withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, eliminate electric vehicle mandates, restart the approval process for LNG projects, and unleash American energy production. These immediate actions will put America back on the path to energy dominance and global leadership that we saw during President Trump’s first term. It is imperative that Congress move swiftly to enact legislative solutions to further this goal, and HEAT stands ready to work with President Trump and our colleagues in Congress to meet this historic opportunity.”
