April 14, 2025

WASHINGTON DC - NVIDIA announced today it will build AI supercomputers entirely on U.S. soil for the first time ever, producing a staggering $500 billion of domestic AI infrastructure over just four years. This game-changing move includes immediate plans to launch Blackwell chip production in Arizona and to build new supercomputer manufacturing plants in Texas. This represents NVIDIA's first-ever U.S. manufacturing presence, and it will create thousands of high-tech American jobs.

This historic investment coincides with the Republican Study Committee's (RSC) recent launch of its new Emerging Technologies Task Force, led by Rep. Kat Cammack (FL-03) and Vice Chair Jay Obernolte (CA-23).

Great to see the wonderful news about NVIDIA’s AI supercomputers being built entirely in the U.S.,” said Rep. Kat Cammack. This is exactly the type of advancement we’re encouraging on the Emerging Technology Task Force—ensuring the United States is the global leader in harnessing innovation and outpacing our competitors. Looking forward to seeing these facilities in Texas and Arizona continue to grow.

"NVIDIA's commitment to manufacturing AI supercomputers on American soil is a significant milestone in strengthening our nation's technological leadership, said Rep. Obernolte. “By investing in domestic production, we not only enhance our supply chain resilience but also create high-quality jobs and foster innovation across the country. This initiative aligns perfectly with the Emerging Technologies Task Force's mission to ensure the United States remains at the forefront of global technological advancement."

RSC Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) added: "Today's announcement from NVIDIA demonstrates America's potential to lead the global tech revolution. I'm particularly excited about the ripple effects this investment will have across the Lone Star State’s thriving tech corridor, where we're already seeing unprecedented growth in high-skill jobs and innovation hubs. The RSC’s new Emerging Technologies Task Force is positioned perfectly to be a leader on Capitol Hill as we work to introduce comprehensive legislation that ensures America remains at the forefront of technological advancement while protecting our values and security interests."
