WASHINGTON, DC — In Case You Missed It (ICYMI): Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) underscored the urgent importance of delivering the One Big Beautiful Bill to President Trump's desk. Chairman Pfluger emphasized the House's comprehensive legislative strategy, which achieved an unprecedented $1.6 trillion in federal savings.

Chairman Pfluger on Mornings with Maria: "Number one, we got it done on time and that gives the predictability to the business community that they know they can plan for next year, they know they can take the biggest tax cuts that President Trump extended and enhanced and many cases made permanent and plan for next year. Two, we are saving $1.6 trillion, the largest amount of savings garnered in 250 years of the country...This is an incredible bill and we need it to be done quickly." 

Chairman Pfluger on Varney & Co: "It's time to get this passed. It's time to show the markets that we are fiscally responsible, but also that we're going to extend those tax cuts and make good on the promises that he was mandated to do in November." 

Chairman Pfluger on Newsmax: "It's historic. First and foremost, it unleashes the economy, extends the tax cuts that Trump had in 2017...We're saving money, garnering savings to cut fraud, waste, and abuse while unleashing American energy, and securing the border. I mean, every promise that President Trump made is being delivered on in this bill, and that's what I think is so special about it." 

Chairman Pfluger on Fox Radio: "But suffice it to say, we are going to extend the tax cuts, we are going to save money by reforming certain programs, and we’re gonna make sure that the border is secure by putting resources into border security, not just for these next four years, but for decades to come.”
