WASHINGTON, D.C. — In Case You Missed It (ICYMI): Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) joined “The Scott Jennings Show” on Salem Media, calling out the radical Left's refusal to name radical Islamic terrorism for what it is and drawing a hard line between Republicans delivering for hardworking Americans and Democrats standing in the way. Not a single Democrat voted to lower taxes, secure the border, or support our troops and national security interests abroad. Republicans, meanwhile, prevented the largest tax hike in history, delivered historic tax relief, helped make the border more secure, and provided resources to restore America's military to the world's preeminent fighting force.

Chairman Pfluger on Democrats’ voting against hardworking Americans and their families:
“[Republicans’] track record shows that we love this country. Not a single Democrat voted to lower your taxes. Not a single Democrat voted to secure the border. Not a single Democrat in recent months has voted to support the military or secure our country and our interests around the world. But Republicans have done all of that. We have a solid track record. And we're fighting back against crazy every day. That's the contrast.”

Chairman Pfluger on radical Leftists’ anti-American views:
“What I thought to myself was, ‘I sure hope that some of these people, these extremists that are in our country, can name the fact that this was a radical Islamic jihadist terror group that attacked us, that we should never forget that…They hate our way of life. They hate our freedoms. They hate what we stand for. They hate Christianity and the foundation of our country. And we're going to continue to protect this country for another 250 years. And if we have to fight back, we will. And I think that will represent the sacrifices made by those first responders, by our military, and obviously the innocent victims. And I ended my remarks this morning by saying, ‘Let's think about what Flight 93, United Flight 93, meant to our country. These were people that never met each other. They probably had differences in political opinions, yet they united behind the flag. They united behind being American and loving this country to prevent further tragic death. And we can do that.’ We can do that in this country. We can unite. We can come together. But it takes us calling out the evil that is out there. And there is a lot of evil in the world right now.”
