ICYMI: Chairman Pfluger Pulls Back the Curtain on Democrats’ Radical Agenda on “The Scott Jennings Show”

October 27, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In Case You Missed It (ICYMI): Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) joined “The Scott Jennings Show” on Salem Media, calling out Democrats’ fearmongering, lies, and radical policies that are fundamentally incompatible with the American way of life.

As Democrats try to rebrand as Capitalist moderates and deny their party’s embrace of Socialism, Chairman Pfluger points out how their past rhetoric and actions tell a completely different story. Democrats have previously championed policies allowing men in women’s sports, opening America’s borders for illegal aliens, and taking away local communities’ ability to govern themselves. The Left has also refused to denounce the terrorists who carried out the October 7th attacks and the 9/11 attacks.

You can watch the full interview HERE.

Key highlights from the interview are below.

Chairman Pfluger on radical Leftists’ anti-American views:
“Well, that’s exactly what I was just going to say. If you like what’s going on in France, then vote for El Sayed…Don’t believe his words, just believe his actions, and his actions paint a picture where he cannot denounce what happened on October 7th. He cannot even tell you on 9/11 that it was radical Islamic jihadist terrorists that attacked our country…There is no place in the U.S. Senate for somebody who can’t denounce that and can’t clearly talk about the threat that that brings not just 25 years ago, but what it brings today to our country. Because they are still out there; they still want to destroy America. And me personally, my oath to the Constitution, whether it was in the military or now, is to defend against that radical Islamic jihadism that has destroyed many areas around the world and wants to destroy the United States.”

Chairman Pfluger on the Democrats’ attempt to expand government control:
“Democrats want to control everything from D.C. They want to control whether or not you put manufacturing in your state. You know, everything from the oil and gas industry, and this is not different from data centers. And here’s what we did as Republicans, is we did pass a Ratepayer Protection Act, and we did acknowledge that communities shouldn’t bear the cost of increased utility rates or electricity rates as a result of that. We know that we have to compete against China, and data centers aren’t right in every community, but let’s let those local communities make those decisions because they are the ones who have the best information, who have the best ability to make that decision, and it needs to be made there…We know exactly what the Democrat Communist playbook is. It is make decisions from D.C. and force a one-size-fits-all on every state. That’s just not the way it works, and we’re going to continue to fight to keep D.C. out of your local jurisdictions.”
