ICYMI – Setting in Stone the Trump Legacy Laws

March 12, 2025

WASHINGTON DC - In Case You Missed It: The Republican Study Committee (RSC) hosted its first press conference to announce the launch of a new initiative, "Set in Stone—The Trump Legacy Laws," to codify President Trump's executive orders into law.

While Democrats are lost at bay, the RSC stands ready to turn President Trump's America First vision into permanent law—a foundation for American greatness built in stone, not sand.

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING

Heritage Action Executive Vice President Ryan Walker:

“Heritage Action has been fighting for years alongside the Republican Study Committee to get major conservative policy priorities enacted in Congress. By issuing key votes for Rep. Steube and Sen. Tuberville’s Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, Rep. McClintock’s Secure the Border Act, and Rep. Cloud’s Dismantle DEI Act—to name a few—Heritage Action has tirelessly advocated for many of President Trump’s executive orders to be codified into law. We look forward to continuing our work alongside the RSC to safeguard President Trump's legacy.”

Paul Teller, Executive Vice President of Advancing American Freedom and former RSC Executive Director:

"Kudos to the RSC for their effort to codify Trump executive orders. Let's set into statute the great initiatives to shrink spending, kill regulations, and otherwise recede the federal government from the everyday lives of Americans."
