Judge Pirro Delivers Her Verdict to RSC: Time to Execute Justice in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican Study Committee (RSC) hosted U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro on Capitol Hill today to discuss the crime epidemic plaguing Washington, D.C. Attorney Pirro delivered a hard-hitting briefing to RSC lawmakers on her plan to restore law and order to the nation’s capital.
U.S. Attorney Pirro outlined her comprehensive prosecution strategy to crush criminals terrorizing D.C. residents and visitors. RSC members backed her aggressive approach and pledged full support for the legislative firepower needed to obliterate the crime wave devastating Washington.
"I was proud to host today's Republican Study Committee lunch with Judge Jeanine Pirro,"said RSC Messaging Task Force Chair Mark Alford (MO-04). "This is the perfect week to hear from our U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. as House Republicans pass several bills to crack down on violent crime in our nation's capital. Under the leadership of Chairman Pfluger, RSC continues to bring in high level guest speakers to help us develop policies that advance our America First agenda. House Republicans will always stand for law and order to keep our communities safe."
The meeting comes as House Republicans delivered a crushing blow to D.C.'s soft-on-crime policies yesterday, passing the DC Crimes Act and the D.C. Juvenile Sentencing Reform Act. These bills will lower the age for trying violent juvenile offenders as adults to 14 and impose mandatory minimum sentences that match adult penalties.
The Republican Study Committee remains committed to dismantling failed soft-on-crime policies and empowering tough prosecutors like Attorney Pirro to deliver justice.
