No Taxing Matter: Americans Win Under Republican Leadership

October 29, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In Case You Missed It (ICYMI): The Washington Reporter highlighted RSC’s work during the 119th Congress to ensure conservative principles remain at the heart of American government.

The RSC helped deliver on Republicans’ 2024 promises to provide tax relief, secure the border, fight fraud, and put the American Dream within reach again through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act. The RSC then took aim at waste, fraud, and abuse by introducing a framework to root it out across federal programs and signed onto Vice President JD Vance’s Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud.

In addition to the framework and pledge, RSC launched the Rescissions Working Group, led by Rep. Riley Moore (WV-02), to end woke, wasteful spending. The Working Group helped pass the historic rescissions package into law to cut $9 billion in spending for Left-wing vanity projects.

Beyond its policy successes, RSC has also reached more Americans who have turned away from legacy media to independent creators through the first, second, and third-ever New Media Row. RSC’s Right to the Point podcast also gives listeners unprecedented access to the voices and vision of RSC Members, delivering unfiltered insights directly from the committee.

“With 190 members, the RSC is the largest caucus on Capitol Hill, and it has shaped the House GOP from a both policymaking standpoint and a messaging one in more ways than one. The RSC’s leadership told the Washington Reporter that the organization ‘will remain a steadfast voice for the American people for generations to come.’”

“During Pfluger’s time as RSC Chair, the caucus has been aggressive in pushing to codify President Donald Trump’s executive orders and in taking its messages directly to the American people. Pfluger launched a podcast via the RSC, called Right to the Point, in which its members speak with each other and with issue area experts.”

“Throughout this Congress, the RSC has helped House Republican leadership pass its landmark Working Families Tax Cuts, worked with Vice President JD Vance to investigate and expose fraud across America, and lead the way on a variety of recissions packages, which Rep. Riley Moore (R., W.Va.) led the way on.”
