Rep. Onder Urges Treasury Department to End Tax Subsidies for Radical and Harmful Transgender Surgeries

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, the Republican Study Committee’s Rep. Bob Onder (MO-03) announced he is urging Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to immediately end taxpayer subsidization of so-called “gender transition” procedures through Health Savings Accounts and Obamacare plans.

The RSC has been a tireless advocate for putting a permanent stop to the radical ideology of transgender surgeries and the profound and well-documented harm such procedures inflict on America’s vulnerable youth. As the United States faces a rise in left-wing violence perpetrated by individuals with a clear political motivation for transgender activism, the call to combat this mental health crisis is more important than ever.
