Republican Study Committee Launches "Set in Stone" Initiative to Cement Trump's Legacy Into Law

March 11, 2025

WASHINGTON DC - The Republican Study Committee (RSC), the oldest and largest conservative caucus in Congress, today launched "Set in Stone—The Trump Legacy Laws," a bold initiative to transform President Trump's executive victories into permanent legislation.

This initiative champions key bills in the House and Senate that will codify President Trump's agenda into permanent law, ensuring these victories cannot and will not be undone by future administrations with a mere stroke of a pen.

The RSC is spearheading efforts to advance critical legislation, including the REMAIN in Mexico Act, Dismantle DEI Act, AMERICANS Act, Birthright Citizenship Act, End the Deep State Act, No Taxpayer Funding for World Health Organization Act, and more. These bills aim to eliminate government waste, secure our borders, and counter radical policies that have divided our nation.

The first list of endorsed bills is available here. More bill endorsements will be forthcoming.

"These are NOT just policy preferences—they represent the will of the American people who voted for transformative change," said RSC Chairman August Pfluger during today's announcement. "The Trump Legacy Laws we're establishing today will stand the test of time, proving that 'Make America Great Again' wasn't just a slogan – it was the blueprint for a New Golden Age written in stone, NOT sand.

The press conference featured a powerful lineup of conservative leaders, including RSC Chairman August Pfluger, Vice-Chair Ben Cline, Senator Bill Hagerty, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, Congressman Brandon Gill, Congressman Pat Harrigan, Congressman Michael Cloud, Congressman Chip Roy, Congressman Brian Babin, Congressman Tom Tiffany, Congressman Troy Balderson, Congresswoman Stephanie Bice, Congressman Glenn Grothman, Congressman Marlin Stutzman, Congressman Mike Haridopolos, and Congressman Eric Burlison.

While Republicans continue pressing forward on reconciliation and the appropriations process, the RSC is calling for swift floor votes in both the House and Senate on these stand-alone bills. The message from today's announcement was clear: The time for action is now. While Democrats are lost at bay, the RSC stands ready to turn President Trump's America First vision into permanent law—a foundation for American greatness built in stone, not sand. The mandate from the American people demands nothing less.
