The Reviews Are In: Ranchers, Sheriffs, and Small Business Owners Say America First Policies In Action Are Working

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Republican Study Committee today released "Hardworking Americans Are Winning Again," a new video featuring cattle ranchers, small business owners, sheriffs, and veterans from across the country speaking directly to the real-world impact of the America First agenda in action thanks to Congressional Republicans and President Trump.

From a fifth-generation South Texas cattle rancher describing a border that is finally secure, to a small business owner whose employees are getting tax refunds of $2,000 to $10,000, to a Wayne County sheriff crediting the administration with making his streets safer, the video makes the case Republicans have been making, and in the words of the Americans who know it best.

“My name is Command Sergeant Major Retired John Herring. 

I'm Sheriff Scott Berg. 

My name is Ben Mingus. 

My name is Robert Milby. 

My name is Kristen Chorne. 

I'm also proud to be a first-term Sheriff. 

I'm a fifth-generation cattle rancher. 

I'm the Sheriff of Wayne County, New York. 

I'm representing my business. 

We're ranchers in South Texas, retired from the military, 

I've been in law enforcement for 23 years. The border closing is definitely helping our community. 

No tax on tips, huge benefits for our employees, 

Human trafficking, the number of border crossings, no border patrols driving through our gates to chase people anymore. 

I want to thank President Trump for his efforts in supporting law enforcement, 

Continuing to look out for working people in North Dakota 

And all of America is so much better…I have a lot of assets that came from the federal government. 

I've already had several employees. They're getting anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000 in refunds. 

Border Security is tremendously better. The tax cuts have been tremendous for us. 

Life is just tremendously better since everything has happened that [President Trump] has caused to happen for us.”
