The RSC Keeps Changing How Washington Talks to America, Hosts Third New Media Row
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) hosted the third-ever New Media Row on Capitol Hill, where RSC members delivered their conservative message straight to the American people without the legacy media bias.
30 creators, influencers, and conservative personalities were in attendance including Scott Jennings, Tim Young, Sean Spicer, Drew Steele, Alec Lace, John Hines, Isabel Brown, Ben Domenech, Tim Rice, Bradley Devlin, Jackson Gosnell, and many more. Over 50 Members, including two Republican U.S. Senators, stopped by to speak directly with creators, bypassing the legacy press.
The RSC has led Capitol Hill in the new media space, hosting the first, second, and now third-ever New Media Row. Americans are ditching legacy media for independent creators who actually cover the issues they care about, and the numbers back it up: 64% are now turning to independent outlets over mainstream media. Today built on that momentum, reaching millions online and unfiltered.
Members of RSC’s leadership released statements on the success of today’s event:
“The days of gatekeepers controlling the narrative are over. Americans are tuning into voices they trust—and at the Republican Study Committee New Media Row, we’re taking our message straight to the American people. As Chairman of the RSC’s Strategic Messaging Task Force, I’m proud to help lead the charge in meeting Americans where they are, delivering real results, and championing the commonsense policies that are restoring strength, lowering costs, and putting our country back on the right track,” said RSC Messaging Task Force Chair Mark Alford (MO-04).
“Legacy media spent years deciding what Americans should care about, and Americans decided they were done listening,” said RSC Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11). “RSC’s New Media Row is reaching millions of people and bypassing the gatekeepers of the legacy media. Podcasters and independent voices are speaking honestly about the issues Americans actually care about: the tax relief Republicans delivered for working families, lower costs, and restoring America’s Golden Age. The RSC will continue leading the way with new media voices on Capitol Hill to deliver our conservative victories to the American people.”
