RSC Leaders Give Thanks for a President Who Actually Keeps His Promises
WASHINGTON, D.C. — This Thanksgiving, the Republican Study Committee has a lot to be thankful for—starting with a President who keeps his promises and puts American families first.
From secure borders to a military rebuilt for strength instead of social experiments, President Trump is delivering policies that work for American families rather than D.C. bureaucrats. After four years of watching the Biden administration fail upward, it turns out elections have consequences—and this time, they're good ones.
Members of the RSC share Chairman Pfluger's gratitude for renewed American leadership:
"I'm thankful the American people finally have a President who fights for them and delivers results," said RSC Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11). "President Trump promised to secure our border, restore our military, and put hardworking families first. He's kept those promises and then some. After years of the Biden administration's failures, we're back to doing what we were elected to do: delivering real results for the people we serve. This is just the beginning. Americans are going to have a lot more to be grateful for in the years ahead."
"This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful we’re turning the page on the failed policies of the previous administration and putting working families first again. With President Trump back in the fight and RSC leadership driving results, we’re securing the border, lowering costs for families, and defending peace through strength. The path forward is clear: we’ll keep fighting every day to deliver results for the American people,” said RSC National Security Task Force Chair Zach Nunn (IA-03).
“This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful that America is finally getting back to the basics: securing our border, restoring strength on the world stage, and undoing the damage of the last administration. The Republican Study Committee is proving every day that conservative leadership delivers, and the American people deserve nothing less. It’s as simple as this: promises made and promises kept. That’s something to be grateful for," said RSC Messaging Task Force Chair Mark Alford (MO-04).
“Thanksgiving is my favorite national holiday because it reminds us how blessed we are as Americans and to count the blessings we are afforded by Almighty God. I am thankful how the past ten months have progressed with President Trump back in the White House and Republicans in Congress enacting sweeping reforms to: end the national nightmare of open borders that brought a tidal wave of criminal illegal immigration, drive American energy dominance so costs are lowered for hard working families, and cut taxes so Americans are keeping more of what they earn and deciding how best to take care of their families,” said RSC Budget and Spening Task Force Chair Beth Van Duyne (TX-24).
