RSC Members Applaud House Passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a landmark piece of legislation that cements President Trump's tax cuts while delivering on Republican promises to secure the border, unleash American energy, and cut fraud, waste, and abuse in the government.
Following today's historic vote, Republican Study Committee (RSC) members celebrated its passage and impact on the American people:
“The House’s passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill is a major victory for the hardworking American people. This legislation delivers on the America First agenda by securing the border, unleashing American energy, cutting wasteful spending, and stopping the largest tax increase in our nation’s history. I’m also proud it removes suppressors from the National Firearms Act of 1934—a long-overdue win for law-abiding gun owners and our Second Amendment rights. This is a huge win and an important step toward getting our Nation back on the path to prosperity,”said RSC Vice Chair Ben Cline (VA-06).
