RSC Releases Video Celebrating America's 250th Birthday and One Year of Historic Tax Cuts
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today marks 250 years since the founding of the United States of America, and one year since President Trump signed the Working Families Tax Cuts Act into law, delivering the largest tax cut in American history and preventing a $4.5 trillion tax hike on hardworking American families. Republicans locked in permanent tax relief for tipped workers, hourly employees, seniors, and small businesses without a single Democrat vote, delivering on a promise to reward hard work and let Americans keep more of what they earn.
To mark this historic double anniversary, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) released a new video honoring the sacrifice, resilience, and unmatched exceptionalism that built this nation, from the Founders who risked everything to the workers and families who just got to keep more of their paycheck.
