RSC Undeterred and Committed to Passing the One Big Beautiful Bill. Now the Senate Must Deliver Too.

June 6, 2025

WASHINGTON, DC — Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) and Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) penned an op-ed in The Hill urging the Senate to swiftly pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the most comprehensive conservative reform package in American history.

The House-passed legislation delivers historic tax relief including a $5,000 raise for the average American family, eliminates taxes on tips and overtime pay, and increases the child tax credit to $2,500. The bill also invests $46 billion to complete the border wall, hires 18,000 new immigration enforcement personnel, and commits nearly $150 billion to rebuild America's military. The Chairmen say the House has delivered and now it's time for the Senate to act with urgency, highlighting that America's next Golden Age is within reach, but only if Republicans come together to seize it.
