Statement from RSC Chairman Pfluger in Response to Israel's Targeted Military Operation Against Iran

WASHINGTON D.C. –  Republican Study Committee (RSC) Chairman August Pfluger (TX-11) released the following statement in response to Israel's targeted military operation, which dealt a crippling blow to the Iranian regime:

“Iran remains the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, destabilizing the Middle East through decades of proxy violence and chaos. America has zero tolerance for a nuclear-armed Iran, and they must never have ANY capability to enrich uranium. Congress must swiftly enact the RSC’s Maximum Pressure package that contains the strongest sanctions against Iran ever proposed in Congress. Every last bit of Tehran's terror financing must be immediately cut off. Israel has every right to defend itself against this rogue state. As Iran escalates its aggression, America stands firmly with Israel and will defend our ally with the full force of American power."
