Vought Brings the Receipts: Rescissions Delivered, Reforms Enacted, Waste on Notice
WASHINGTON, D.C. — United States Office of Management (OMB) Director Russ Vought joined Republican Study Committee members today on Capitol Hill to discuss the administration's fiscal wins and the work ahead. Director Vought, a former RSC Executive Director, emphasized to members that the past year marked a huge milestone for fiscal responsibility by passing major conservative legislation and a critical rescissions package that clawed back billions in woke spending.
Vought pointed to historic mandatory spending reforms through the Working Families Act that will generate roughly $2 trillion in savings, and made clear the administration will keep cracking down on fraud and abuse while forcing federal agencies to actually serve the American people.
The RSC will continue partnering with OMB to cut waste across our government and restore fiscal sanity.
