Welcome Back to RSC, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin

January 14, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C.  The Republican Study Committee (RSC) hosted Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin on Capitol Hill for a members-only meeting. Administrator Zeldin made it clear that the EPA is returning to its core mission of conserving America’s vast natural resources without stifling innovation.

The Administrator also touched on how the EPA is pursuing the largest deregulatory effort in history, where they have saved taxpayers up to $30 billion. With President Trump in the White House, large slush funds created by the Biden-Harris Administration are officially over.

The RSC is committed to working alongside the administration to pursue policies that unleash American energy, manufacturing, and economic progress.
