WHAT THEY ARE SAYING (2.0): Pass the Clean Goverment Funding Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C. – For nearly 6 weeks, Senate Democrats have held the government hostage and their ransom is a radical wish list. The list includes $1.5 trillion in new spending to restore taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal aliens and resuming DEI projects in foreign countries.

As federal employees miss paychecks, servicemembers are pulled from critical missions, and hardworking families are struggling to make ends meet, Democrats have used their suffering for their own political gain. Americans from different political backgrounds are putting their country over party by voicing critical support to pass the clean CR in the U.S. Senate.

Sean M. O’Brien, Teamsters General President:
“I represent 1.3 million working men and women in this country. At the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, we took a position weeks ago: pass a clean CR.”

We as pilots adhere to strict procedures promoting safety as our most important priority. We have seen the stress and tension this year on the National Airspace System due to short-staffed air traffic controllers. This shutdown only compounds the pressures they face as they now report to work without a paycheck. It’s time to recognize their contributions, along with our colleagues at TSA, who ensure we fly in the safest skies every day with the trust of the American flying public. Congress must support these men and women by ending this shutdown immediately.”
