WHAT THEY ARE SAYING: RSC Members Proudly Join Vice President Vance’s Anti-Fraud Pledge

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Vice President JD Vance launched his Pledge to Protect Americans from Fraud, and Republican Study Committee (RSC) Members were among the first to sign on.

The pledge commits to protecting vulnerable Americans from fraudsters who seek to prey on them, ensuring taxpayer-funded programs serve law-abiding Americans, and preventing fraudsters from using taxpayer-funded benefits to buy luxury goods. The pledge also calls for stronger oversight and accountability measures, such as detecting fraud before payments are issued, holding perpetrators accountable, and deporting illegal alien fraudsters who exploit the generosity of the American people.

The RSC has been at the forefront of the fight against waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs, proposing a framework to codify the Trump administration’s anti-fraud victories into law and deliver accountability for American taxpayers.

“The American people are done being robbed by fraudsters and the bureaucrats who enable them. For years, billions of taxpayer dollars were stolen in broad daylight while the last administration shrugged and called it compassion. Fighting fraud has been one of my top priorities in Congress, and I remain committed to rooting it out wherever it hides.
