WORST OF THE WORST: DHS Adds 5,000 More Criminal Illegal Aliens to the List

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced they added another 5,000 criminal illegal aliens to their Worst of the Worst website, which already has over 40,000 criminals listed. DHS’s Worst of the Worst website provides transparency to the American people while reaffirming the Trump administration’s commitment to the American people to identify, arrest, and deport dangerous illegal aliens from our country.

After four years of open border chaos under the Biden-Harris administration, President Trump is leading historic efforts to restore law and order at our Southern border. Congressional Republicans have backed these efforts by securing targeted investments through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act. The investments will help complete construction of the border wall, expand Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) ability to detain illegal aliens, and support recruitment and retention efforts of ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents.

Following multiple Democrat-led shutdowns, President Trump and Congressional Republicans also advanced the Secure America Act, locking in $70 billion in guaranteed funding for ICE and CBP for the remainder of President Trump's term. This funding also included $108.5 million for child exploitation investigations and forensic analysts after an estimated 300,000 unaccompanied children under the Biden-Harris Administration were lost or placed with unvetted sponsors. The legislation was a direct response to Democrat obstruction and a guarantee that border security cannot be used as a political bargaining chip.

“Republicans have secured our border, but thanks to the Biden Administration and far Left sanctuary policies, dangerous, criminal illegal aliens are still allowed to terrorize our communities. Every crime and assault committed by an illegal alien was 100 percent preventable, but in states like Virginia, Spanberger, Descano, and other Democrat leaders have continuously made policy decisions that have put illegal aliens over American families. House Republicans are passing commonsense legislation to close the border permanently, uphold the rule of law, and protect Americans,” said RSC Vice Chair Rep. Ben Cline (VA-06). 

“President Trump has empowered ICE to finally remove criminal aliens from the streets of Colorado, and they are getting the job done. However, our state’s sanctuary policies still handcuff local law enforcement and prevent full cooperation with federal agents. Thank you to the brave men and women of ICE for their outstanding work protecting Coloradans and putting American safety first. It’s long past time for Denver Democrats to stop shielding criminal illegals and start supporting the law,” said Rep. Lauren Boebert (CO-04).

“DHS's updated Worst of the Worst list is a stark reminder that border security cannot wait—and with individuals connected to East Texas on it, the consequences of years of failed border policy hit close to home. That's why House Republicans made border security a top priority: the Secure America Act gave law enforcement the tools to remove dangerous criminals from our communities, while the Working Families Tax Cuts Act ensures hardworking Americans aren't left footing the bill for the last administration's open-border policies. These individuals make up the 'Worst of the Worst' who have illegally crossed our borders, including murderers, rapists, and pedophiles. Under no circumstances should these criminals be allowed to remain in America! Under the Trump Administration, we’ve shown that strong leadership and clear policies work. We passed the Working Families Tax Cuts Act to give law enforcement the resources they need to identify, detain, and remove the worst of the worst criminals before they can threaten our communities. Every one of these individuals is someone who should never have been free to threaten American communities in the first place. With zero releases of illegal immigrants at our borders and over 3 million illegal immigrants deported, or self-deported, crime rates are down, fentanyl deaths are down, and America is safer than we were during the disastrous Open Border era of Joe Biden,” said Rep.
